Happy shopping @ Bugis street!!

Had a fun time shopping at bugis street today!!

Its been a long time since i really do some shopping there.

Bugis street had transformed so much. Its now having 3 level of awesome shopping experience. Prices are still very reasonable and you can still find many cheap deals there!!

I spent about 2 hours shopping there and managed to buy 3 dresses, 2 tops and 3 earrings!!

As i am meeting BF at 330, i went back Bugis Junction to look for food and drink. I had Rockery Hazelnut Milktea w Coffee Jelly warm!! I love stall tat can serve me warm drinks, other then at coffee shop, as i can no longer take cold drinks.

BF finally came and we went to Brabasah to shop for watch. He is looking for one.

We saw the Skagen Ring again and he is keen to buy it for me.But as the shop have run out of my size, we didnt get it from the shop. Anyway, we were quoted $76 aft she gives us a discount of $2.

BF suggested going to Raffles City to take a look.

But as he planned to leave Bugis Junction Carpark before 5 pm, and to Reach Raffles City after 5pm, we stop-by Ah Chew Dessert at seah street.

After the sweet temptation, we arrived at Raffles City.

We went to the Skagen store and finally find my size and managed to buy the ring.

Love the ring and his thought as well. He is so sweet!!

After that we have dinner and then i went for my night lesson.

Had really enjoyed myself shopping at Bugis Street!

Antoinette @ Mandarin Gallery

Had a wonderful High tea session today with my working "Tai Tai". Enjoyed myself so much!

We eat, drink, camwhore and gossip. Just like what taitai do when their rich hubbies were out working.

There is so much to gossip about. Especially Tiang Taitai met her admirer. Haha, Chia taitai cant wait to get Tiang attached so that she can have enough bride grooms n maids for her wedding! Lol.

Anyway, we went to this place - Antoinette, located at Mandarin Gallery. Its on level 2.
The place is prettily done up and have those France or Paris feel to it. Really love the ambiance and of cos the companies.

We order each a pot of tea. I had the Geisha green tea. Its car ries an orange and lemon taste. But i added to some raw sugar to it so that it taste better.

We picked 2 cakes to share. Their cakes all look nice and name look so tasty. So we had a hard time picking out 2. We had a chocolate and a strawberry type.

I prefer the chocolate one as it have liquor in it. There is also a layer of crispy waffles in between that make it taste so wonderful.

We order 3 main entries to share as well. We had a Crepe, a sandwich and pancake.

Love the sandwich and pancake. Dun really like the crepe.

We sat there for 2 hours. We were so filled after finishing the meal. But it was satisfying!

The bill came up to $33 per head, which i think is reasonable. I was expecting 35 per head.
If u intend to try them, u can choose to share your tea with your friend since its quite a big pot. Sandwich is also rather big portion.

I would loves to try their macaroon next time cos they look good as well.

After the high tea session, we walked to Taka for a little digestive window shopping. But i left shortly as i need to rush for lesson.

Its was a well spend day today. Thanks gals!!

And here is what i wear for the day.

Chinese New Year 2012 - the Dragon

This is yet another year of my Chinese New Year spent in Singapore.

Its the Dragon Year, which i am truly excited about.
I am turning 24 this year!! Age is really catching up. Shall treasures this last few youthful years of mine.

So this year as usual, my parents together with my youngest sister went to Malaysia for their annual CNY gathering with my aunties.

As no one was home with me during the CNY, i joined my Boyfriend family for the 2 precious day of CNY public holiday.

I went over to his place on eve. I have so much things to prepare for my CNY that night.
I have to paint my nails, trim my brows, do my mask etc.

Painting of my nail was a chores as its very time consuming. End up, i only paint it red. No Blings at all. But still, i was so tired painting it and waiting for it to dry that i literally fell asleep with my 2 hands hanging in mid-air. Guess that as much as i would want my sleep, i do not wish to ruin my just painted nails.

Day 1
So day 1 of CNY, i woke up at about 8am, when i slept only at 3am. My BF was up and out earlier to send his dad for 'marketing".

Once up, i washed up and started preparing for my dressing up and make up.
I took no pictures on my first day of CNY as it was mostly house visiting.
Actually, i was really awkward whenever his relatives entered the house and send their CNY greeting by handshakes. I will received puzzled stares and whispering sound when they saw me. Like who is this girl here?

Sigh, wasn't comfortable at all. But i need to stay through still. Well, the Angbaos returns do pay off quite well. ha ha.

After the visiting, went back to his place. I was feeling rather sick with a heavy head. So BF took me out for dinner before returning home to rest.

Day 2
Woke up feeling fresh! Bf family wanted a Dim sum gathering but failed as they wasn't able to
secure any restaurant reservation.
So we hang around his house till late afternoon. Then we headed to the Marina Bay for the HongBao River.

BF took me up to the esplanade rooftop for this shoot.

Heading to the River Angbao!

All bright and colourful!

There's lots of activities going on there. Funfair games, live demonstration of handicraft work, food and lots of big beautiful lanterns!

So definitely must take pictures with some of the lantern right?
Here you go!

Must take picture with the Dragon, since its its year (and mine too)!

BF and me with the little dragon! love it!

This is how this year God of Fortune look like. Its know as the 武财神.
Heard from the introduction that its the first time they have this during the River Angbao . It is to symbolized Singapore fighting spirit despite the upcoming economic downturn.

The 财神 together with the city skyline.
Look so mighty and fierce.

If you never took a picture with the 财神, it means you haven been to the River Angbao. *snap*

But am still more used to the traditional 财神.
Taken at the FU Lu Shuo lantern structure.

Take a break and have a drink. Because its super tiring and hot walking around there.

One last picture before we head over to MBS for some air-con! Its a silly picture of me though. Trying to open my mouth big like the statu to "suck" in all the good fortune and luck!

Yes! finally some air-con @ MBS

MBS actually planted in some surprises for its visitors by having Mr Dragon Mascot! He dun mind sharing his big gold with me. LOL.

Here is another mascot. The little god of fortune is so playful. He make funny faces. LOL

That all my sharing for the 2 PH of CNY. But will be posting more of my other days soon.

I hope you enjoyed yours too!
